RANCH-SEASONED PORK CHOPS AND POTATOES IN THE SLOW COOKER

This Crockpot meal is a family favorite—easy, flavorful, and always a hit. Tender pork chops and hearty red potatoes are coated in a tangy ranch mixture and slow-cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs red potatoes, quartered

  • 6 boneless pork chops (¾-inch thick; bone-in also works)

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons dry ranch seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

  • Salt, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Optional sear: For extra flavor, sear the pork chops in an oiled skillet over medium-high heat until lightly browned on both sides.

  2. Make the ranch mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, dry ranch seasoning, and apple cider vinegar.

  3. Assemble in slow cooker: Place the quartered red potatoes and pork chops into the slow cooker. Pour the ranch mixture over everything and toss to coat the potatoes evenly.

  4. Add butter: Scatter the cubed butter on top.

  5. Cook: Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5–6 hours, until the pork is tender and the potatoes are fork-soft.

  6. Season and serve: Season with salt (and pepper, if desired) to taste. Serve warm and enjoy!

Tips

  • For even more flavor, add a sprinkle of extra ranch seasoning or fresh parsley before serving.

  • Thicker pork chops may need an extra 30–60 minutes on low.

  • This recipe also works well with boneless, skinless chicken thighs.

Enjoy your stress-free, delicious meal!
